Types of Air Source Heat Pumps
- •Air-to-Water Heat Pumps: These systems transfer heat into a water-based heating system, suitable for homes with existing radiators or underfloor heating. Covered for £7,500 Government Grant under the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS).
- •Air-to-Air Heat Pumps: These systems transfer heat directly into the air in your home and are often used for heating and cooling without providing hot water.
Note: Zero VAT applies to the installation of both types of ASHP for residential customers and registered charities.
